British actor Tom Holland created Billy17, a production company with which he signed a production contract with sony Pictures for collaboration on film projects.
Billy 17, made up of Holland, his brother Harry Holland and screenwriter Will South, begins their collaboration with ‘burnt‘, an original project that they have been developing together and in which the screenwriter will be present Oscar Rodney RothmanSony Pictures announced this Thursday in a statement.
The plot of this project “is kept secretbut it is expected to star Tom Holland,” the letter stated.
The Holland and South production company plans produce “an adaptation of Graeme Simsion’s best-selling and critically acclaimed novel, ‘The Rosie Project,'” he added.
They are also producing, along with Amy Pascal, an adaptation of Teddy Wayne’s recently published novel, ‘The Winner’, a project that will star Tom Holland.
The agreement with Billy17 “gives continuity to the close relationship that Sony Pictures has with Hollandwho starred in and was executive producer of ‘Uncharted,'” which grossed $407 million worldwide and ranks as the fourth highest-grossing video game adaptation in the United States, says the American distributor and production company.
