He delegate of Economy, Finance and European Funds and Industry, Energy and Mines of the Junta de Andalucía in Córdoba, Agustin Lopezreported this Monday on the line of incentives for job creation that the Board opened last july and whose resolution has already been closed, so the beneficiary companies will receive said subsidy this same month “fulfilling our commitment”, as López has indicated.

In total they will be 1,750,000 euros which will be used to encourage Córdoba companies under this line of action with the regional Administration’s own funds and under the regional budget 2023. The Employment delegate has indicated that, in view of the “success of the call” and the great response from companies, the Board is already working to launch a second edition in 2024.

Specifically, there have been 11 projects benefited in the province, which will receive a subsidy whose range fluctuates between 100,000 and 200,000 euros to meet the start-up costs of these business initiatives. Total 80 applications were submitted in the province, which have been awarded under a competitive competition.

Andalusian balance

The Economy delegate has explained that the beneficiaries do not respond to a single profile of newly established companies since this aid is for the consolidation and incentive of projects. In this way, actions of new companies and established companies that have expanded their facilities or have made an investment to continue expanding will be financed.

The call has had a budget of 6 million and will benefit 38 companies of Andalusia, of which Córdoba firms have accounted for 30% of the total investment charged to this line of subsidies.
