Nicolás Arrieta was involved in a controversial situation during the night of November 22, 2025 in Bogotá, which unleashed a wave of reactions on social networks, since the content creator hit another man with a corncob because he had robbed him at the Blessd concert in Vive Claro.
The situation quickly went viral and put the authorities’ response to reports of theft in crowded public spaces at the center of the debate, as Arrieta recounted through his stories Instagram that, upon leaving the premises, she was the victim of a robbery: a man snatched a chain from her and, according to her testimony, gave it to a woman, who in turn passed it to another person.

The content creator assured that he told the uniformed officers guarding the event, but he did not receive the expected attention: “I tell the police: ‘Take him, I need you to identify this man because he robbed me’ and they let him go and they take me“, expressed the content creator in his official accounts, showing his frustration at the lack of action by the agents.
In the midst of the confusion, Arrieta decided to hit the alleged thief with a cob he was eating at the time. The influencer himself described the scene with irony: “I was enjoying my cob quietly, comfortable with my cob, because there is nothing better than leaving a concert and eating a cob (…) And I enjoyed my cob and they steal from me and I don’t care, the material doesn’t matter, but I say this son of a bitch stole from me. And they were going to put me in prison!”.
The video of the altercation, which was widely circulated on platforms such as TikTok, was described by Arrieta as “out of context”, as he assured that his reaction was a product of helplessness in the face of the police reaction: “Anyone would be angry if they didn’t let him eat his corn in peace. I, I was happy. The thing is that they robbed me because I was eating the corn (…) He hits the rats with corn.”
The viralization of the episode also sparked rumors on social networks about Arrieta’s condition during the event, in particular about alleged drug use. The content creator himself denied these versions and explained that he had only ingested brandy, a drink offered to him by concertgoers: “They said: ‘oh, I was drugged’, I don’t know what. The truth is (…) People offered me schnapps, I drank some and I was calm.. But anyone who gets robbed, I mean, believe me, I don’t care about that, I’m going to be damned if they rob me, I swear.”
The content creator regretted the wave of criticism he received on social networks after the video was broadcast, pointing out that many users insulted him and held him responsible for the situation and the scandal generated.
“And right now they are working on me on TikTok. Oh, I’m a son of a bitch, I’m a bastard. I swear you would insult a thieving son of a bitch the same way I do.. And they wanted to let him go, obviously. And the other man, the one who is an accomplice, got him off my back,” he said on his Instagram.
Thus, Nicolás Arrieta’s experience at the Blessd concert not only became an example of the vulnerability of attendees to robberies at massive events, but also revived the debate about the response of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police to this type of situation, since it is not the first time that little action on their part has been reported.
