This weekend’s leisure and cultural agenda in Cordova emerges with the opening to the public of the facilities of the Flora Festivalwhich is experiencing its big days starting this Friday with seven days of open doors in which the event hopes to repeat, if not surpass, the success of previous editions.

This will also be a markedly musical weekend, with a very special event in the Los Califas bullring: the Cordobita Fest. More than eight hours of concerts with the biggest names and artists of Córdoba music from recent decades. On stage will be, among others, Medina Azahara, Las Ketchup, Los Aslándticos or Lya.

Also in a musical key, the Qurtuba Jazz program continues and the concert halls They liven up their agenda with the presence of Pancho Varona, Califato ¾ and Los Bengala.

And if you prefer to opt for gastronomic leisure, the weekend event is in Cardeña and its Lechón Fair. Take note of all the events scheduled from October 18 to 20.

Flora 2024

Floral installations, botany and vegetation are the protagonists of autumn with a new edition of the Flora Festival 2024which celebrates its seventh edition as one of the international references in floral architecture. Once again, he repeats his formula for success: five artists, five spaces and a theme, this time ‘Multispecies’, to surprise connoisseurs and visitors.

The organizers hope to exceed the 150,000 registered visits in 2023, despite the adverse weather, and are betting on the new edition by doubling the budget (400,000 euros) and with the programming of more than 100 parallel activities around the Festival.

The event began last October 14 with the beginning of the installation of the installations and lives its big days from October 18 to 24 with the opening to the public of the five spaces where the five artists exhibit their creations.
