One of the components of the Córdoba squad, Paraguayan Mareco has played with his team in the Copa Américaa competition in which they have achieved a place for the next World Cup by reaching the semi-finals.

Three games in the last month

During these weeks of break on the fields, the teams have not stopped in the offices. The winter market was open until January 31. A total of 18 players have joined 9 teamssince 7 have not closed any signing.

Córdoba Futsal made two registrations and one withdrawal in January. Initially he was reinforced with the Brazilians Kaué Pereira and Huguinho. He later reached an agreement with youth player Joaqui to leave the club. Kaué made his debut in the two official matches in January. Huguinho has not been able to take the field until now, which he will be able to do in Alzira as he now has all his documentation in order. Joaqui headed to Croatia to join Pula. The youth player Rafalillo and the Paraguayan Arnaldo Báez are the two casualties due to long-term injuries within this team today.

Alzira’s reinforcements

Their next rival in the league, Alzira, is precisely one of those that has moved the most in the market, since it has signed three Brazilians, the centers Tiago Selbach and Pesk and the closing Gustavo Barbosa. The bottom of the league is clear that he is not resigned to relegation and plans to continue fighting for permanence, which he currently has at 4 points.

Córdoba Futsal is going to return to the league in a comfortable eleventh place, since its goal of the season is permanence and it has the relegation zone at 7 points. Meanwhile, the qualifying rounds for the title have not missed the boat, as the 8 best will qualify at the end of the regular phase and they are 4 points away from eighth position. Lucas Perin (10), Zequi (7), Muhammad (6) and Josema and Mareco (4) have been their main scorers so far.

The Cordobans are certainly eager to return to the league. Maintaining the regularity that it enjoys as a local is one of its mottos. After facing Alzira, on February 18 at 1:00 p.m. they will host ElPozo Murcia in Vista Alegre.
