The dissemination of images on social networks that show minors consuming beer during a parade at the fair in the municipality of Acateno, in Pueblahas generated strong controversy and indignation among users and inhabitants of the region.

According to what was reported on social networks, the events occurred within the framework of the call “Great Parade”one of the main events of the local fair, where Attendees captured children and adolescents carrying and drinking beer cans in plain sight.

The images quickly went viral, raising questions about the organization of the event and the responsibility of municipal authorities in the presence of alcohol among minors.

In the videos that circulate on digital platforms, minors are observed with alcoholic beverageswithout apparently any control or supervision on the part of adults or authorities in charge of the event.

The situation generated indignant reactionssince users pointed out that it is a family event where the safety and well-being of girls, boys and adolescents.

Furthermore, some testimonies refer that the distribution of alcoholic beverages it would have been made without age filters, which allowed indiscriminate access to beer during the parade.

This type of situation, specialists have warned in the past, not only represents an administrative failure, but can constitute a risk to the health and development of minors, in addition to possible legal responsibilities for those who facilitate alcohol consumption.

After the dissemination of the material, citizens and users on social networks have demanded the intervention of state authorities and child protection organizations to clarify what happened.

Among the main demands is opening a formal investigation to determine if there were omissions on the part of the city council or if there was an implicit or explicit authorization for the distribution of alcoholic beverages at the event.
