Jose Carlos Conde becomes bigger with the purchase of 100% of the shares of Happy Ending TV, producer of numerous successful programs such as ‘Gente Maravillosa’, which presents Toni Moreno.
In this new phase, it evolves and transforms into Happy Contents, which is the name it will use from now on. This rebranding represents the first step in its international expansion, within the strategic plan of Womack Studios, which includes new acquisitions, alliances and the incorporation of leading professionals in the sector.
The audiovisual production company of Andalusian origin was founded in 2014 by Francisco Romacho, José Miguel Fernández Cuadrado “Lepo” and Pepe Flores, who gave up ownership of the company but remained in charge of content production in Andalusia.
In this new stage, Happy Contents gains momentum as a national fiction and non-fiction content factory, with the appointment of Yusan Achawho joins as director of entertainment programs at the company’s new headquarters in Madrid.
Under his leadership, work is already underway on the development of new audiovisual entertainment and non-fiction projects, focused on their launch on both national and regional television channels, as well as OTT platforms. In addition, from the Madrid office, the development of formats and licenses with a specific focus on the LATAM market will be promoted, which will be driven by the Womack Studios team in Miami and Mexico.
Yusan Acha has more than two decades of experience in television, as a member of the management team of ‘Día a día’ and ‘Cada día’, with María Teresa Campos for more than a decade. He later signed with the production company Mandarina, where he directed different Telecinco programs such as ‘El buscador’ or ‘Está Pasando’ and the memorable ‘¡Qué tiempo tan feliz!’, presented by the remembered journalist from Malaga, which was broadcast with great audience success in the afternoons of Telecinco for 7 years, among others. He later signed with the production company Catorce Comunicación, where he directed ‘Como Sapiens’, to later become the company’s program director.
In its 10 years of experience, Happy Contents has launched numerous successful television productions such as ‘Gente Maravillosa’ (Canal Sur, TV Canaria, Telemadrid, Castilla-La Mancha Media), ‘El árbol de tu vida’ (Antena 3), ‘La Báscula’ (Canal Sur, Aragón TV, Telemadrid) or ‘Los Descendientes’ (Canal Sur), winner of the 2015 Ondas Award for Best Regional Programme.
Womack Group is a global independent communications group, with 100% Spanish capital, which began its activity in Seville in 2014. It brings together 11 companies specializing in communications and 6 producers of fiction and non-fiction content. In 2023, it promoted the launch and development of the South International Series Festival, the first Spanish-language series festival, which celebrated its first edition in Cádiz with great success.
With headquarters in Seville, the company has opened offices and headquarters in Madrid, Gran Canaria and recently in Miami and Santo Domingo as a gateway to its imminent international expansion. The company earned 34 million euros in 2023, through the different companies 100% owned by Womack, figures that rise to 40 million euros integrating the turnover of the companies with shareholdings.
