The company has concluded the previous plan, Tous Next, which began in 2019 and which focused on the transformation of the brand and the chain of stores, which has remained stable at around 640 establishments spread across 40 countries. In this period, Tous's turnover has increased by 21% and the net result has increased by 72%, while the online channel has been gaining weight until reaching 23% of sales last year.

The new plan, which covers a total period of ten years, has been prepared with the advice of the investment bank Rothschild, and contemplates possible financial scenarios for the moment when the Swiss venture capital fund Partners Group decides to sell 25% of the company, in which it invested in 2015. “Someday they are supposed to come out,” said the CEO. According to Soler-Duffo, among the options on the table is not an IPO, but the search for another fund and the repurchase of the Partners package by the Tous family, which now controls 75% of the capital of the company. company based in Manresa (Barcelona).

Tous is committed to “qualitative and healthy growth” in the countries in which it is already present, in the words of the CEO, and does not plan to activate a policy of expanding the store network until 2026. The company's first executive has opened the door to possible acquisitions, although it has stressed that there is currently no operation underway.
