Given recent public order events in the capital of Boyacá, local authorities unilaterally determined the prohibition of public events, including the carrying out of educational tests. As a result of this measure, the Icfes suspended the Saber Pro and Saber TyT evaluations planned there, affecting 2,452 students summoned in five application sites.

The Icfes indicated that it is waiting to coordinate with the local administration of Tunja the rescheduling of the tests and will inform the new date in a timely manner through its official channels. For its part, The Mayor’s Office of Tunja reported that the decision responds to a preventive measure that seeks to safeguard the safety and well-being of young people, inviting the community to remain attentive to official information.

Meanwhile, the evaluation took place normally in the rest of the country, according to the stipulated calendar.
