They sentence an American who was coordinator of the Sinaloa Cartel, in charge of sending methamphetamine and fentanyl

Gabriel Seth Rodgersa 26-year-old man of American origin, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his role in drug trafficking and who was a coordinator for the Sinaloa Cartel.

Said subject was caught in Mexico and subsequently handed over to the authorities of the United States, a country where he was tried and sentenced to 30 years of prison and 10 of supervised release. This is because he was identified as a distributor of methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine.

Official records indicate that Seth Rodgers was in charge of coordinate the shipments of the drugs mentioned in various parts of the US, including Wyoming where it originates.

“Rodgers was identified as coordinator of shipments of the Sinaloa Cartel. He had previously been convicted of theft of firearms. After being released after his parole was revoked for that conviction, he fled and began trafficking large quantities of controlled substances.”

The man sentenced hour fled to CuliacánSinaloa, (Mexico) and from that place he continued his activities as shipping coordinator for the Mexican criminal group.

He was responsible for moving 90 kilograms of methamphetamine, five of cocaine and 18 of fentanyl. In May 2024 in Wyoming he was accused of conspiracy for distribute methamphetamine and fentanylwhile in March 2025 a Montana jury indicted him for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine.

Although the sentence was defined on November 3, the Department of Justice announced the sentence seven days later. It was last August that the 26-year-old pleaded guilty of all charges against him in both the Wyoming and Montana cases.

Finally, Seth Rodgers was captured by Mexican authorities in the Belcantto subdivisionin the capital of Sinaloa seven days after the accusation in the district of Montana.

The report of The Federal Prosecutor’s Office for the District of Wyoming indicates that the now convicted man played a fundamental role in the transfer of drugs to the United States.

“He brought large quantities of dangerous drugs into Montana and Wyoming, and then hid after the protection of Sinaloa Cartel“said U.S. Attorney Darin Smith.

The Sinaloa Cartel is a criminal group with a significant presence in Mexico and accused of sending various drugs to the United States, a country where various arrests of alleged members of the criminal group have been reported.
