The Princess of Wales visits the hospital where she underwent cancer treatment

Catherine, Princess of Wales, (known as Kate Middlteton) visited a London hospital on Tuesday where underwent cancer treatment last year to personally thank doctors for their care and support, his office said.

The British princess, 43, received preventive chemotherapy after an abdominal operation a year ago revealed the presence of cancer.

For the treatment, which concluded in September, Catherine went to the Royal Marsden Hospital, in the center of London, where on Tuesday she made an official visit to mark her appointment as joint patron of the specialized cancer unitalong with her husband, Prince William.
