The scam you experienced months ago

It seems that there is a scammer trying to hunt down the collaborators of the different Mediaset programs. This has been demonstrated recently by Patricia Pardo. A person pretends to be a Mediaset worker and passes them on the street to tell them a tragic story and ask for money, something that almost sneaks up on Pardo. And at first, she had not realized that she had been deceived until, when she told it on set, she discovered that she had not been the only one deceived by that person, since some collaborators of the former Ana Rosa program such as Alejandro Requeijo, Marisa Martín Blázquez and Dani Monteroin addition to other television colleagues, had experienced the same situation.

According to the journalist, the scammer presented himself as a television colleague and told his story in the company in such detail that one could perfectly believe that he had been working there.. “He approached me on the street: ‘Patricia, I’m Antonio, your television camera.’ At first I was embarrassed because I didn’t recognize him…”, the journalist acknowledged in her story. But he soon convinced her: “He told me a story so dramatic that I swear I almost started crying with the man. “She told me that her daughter had been run over on the way out of college and needed money because she was in the quadriplegic hospital in Toledo.”

“He told me that you did everything possible to bring him to work on set”he told Ana Rosa Quintana and Joaquín Prat. Feeling so sorry for, on top of that, someone he was supposed to know and work with, he wanted to give him money. Since he had no money on him, Patricia offered him 100 euros through bizum. The scammer, dissatisfied, responded that he had had to sell his phone, and then run away. “At that moment I realized that something was not going well, something I wanted to hide. And, when I told it here, on the program, I found out that it had happened to other colleagues,” Pardo said.

“For us this started as an anecdote and when we put it together we realized that many of us were affected,” he concluded. We will have to wait and see if another collaborator decides to tell their experience but, at least, Everyone already knows that there is a scammer on the loose.
