The celebrations for the Spanish national team’s victory at Euro 2024 have been marked by a specific song. ‘Potra Salvaje’, the song with which Isabel Aaiún has become the musical phenomenon of the momenthas been the soundtrack of this moment that is now part of the history of our country.
The song has also been present in the celebrations that the faces of our country’s television have made for this European title of our team. During the presentation of the trophy and the medals of the football tournament, TVE’s narrator, Juan Carlos Rivero, made reference to the ‘Potra Salvaje’making a timid attempt to sing it during the broadcast.
“Then they can sing: ‘I already have six tattoos under my suit for seven reasons. I am a wild filly on a journey into the unknown”said the public channel’s communicator. “How are you, Juan Carlos!” replied the former footballer Mario Suarez, who was the commentator for last Sunday’s final. “And if I could sing I would already be a singer,” Rivero concluded.
