On Tuesday night, September 17, ‘El Hormiguero’ and ‘La Revuelta’ found a new rival: football. The broadcast of the Champions League match between Real Madrid and Stuttgart brought together 857,000 viewers in pay-TV, rising to 7.0% in audiences. Taking into account the coincidence with access prime time, this match caused both formats to drop.

David Broncano’s programme continued to be the most watched show of the day on television, although far from the almost 20% that the programme has been used to achieving. Yesterday it had to settle for a huge 16.8%, while Pablo Motos’ ‘El hormiguero’ was only two tenths behind its competitor, also achieving a very good 16.6%.

For her part, Ana Rosa Quintana took victory yesterday in the battle for the leadership of the afternoon magazines. ‘TardeAR’ recorded an average of 740,000 viewers and an 11% share of the screen compared to ‘Y ahora, Sonsoles’, which obtained a 10.5% share and 728,000 viewers. In its broadcast slot, the fiction series ‘La promesa’ won on La 1 between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. with 12.2% and 865,000 viewers.
