Telecinco throws in the towel. The Mediaset channel has made the decision to cancel ‘Babylon Show‘, the space for access to prime time, due to the impossibility of competing with Pablo Motos and David Broncano. According to the network, tonight will be the last program and from next week, it will be replaced by ‘GH Última hora’, with Laura Madrueño.

In this way, the space led by Carlos Latre says goodbye to the audience three weeks after its premiere as one of Telecinco’s big bets to refloat one of the most complicated time slots on television. ‘Babylon Show’ will say goodbye to the viewers of Mediaset’s main channel after having garnered a 7.3% audience share and 736,000 viewers in prime time.

With this change, Telecinco’s programming from September 16 will be dominated by ‘Big Brother’ with the broadcast of summaries during prime time on Mondays and Wednesdays. On the other hand, ‘GH Límite 48h’ and the main gala will begin at 10:00 p.m. on their broadcasts on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
