Silvana Giudici: “Mauricio Macri is confused”

Silvana Giudicinational representative for Freedom Advances (LLA)criticized the former president of the Nation, Mauricio Macri: “Just as Mauricio Macri makes the right decisions, he later gets confused with criticizing the Chief of Staff.”

In communication with Radio Mitre, Giudici referred to the criticism that the former president issued regarding the appointment of Manuel Adorni as new Chief of Staff. At the same time, the deputy also pointed out against the PRO leaders who “are making enormous efforts to differentiate themselves from Libertad Avanza.”

“I will never differentiate myself from the people who continue working for change in Argentina,” argued the parliamentarian, regarding her transfer to the official bloc and together with other PRO leaders.

In this sense, the representative related that her political career was forged at the confluence of different spaces such as Together for Changeremembering that since before 2009 he worked alongside figures such as Cristian Ritondo on the agenda of Buenos Aires autonomy.

In his words, the priority of many leaders was to combat populism, which they blame for postponement and poverty in the country. “I don’t want to say ending Kirchnerism because it seems that one synthesizes it in one person, but the truth is that it is a movement that has led us, Argentines, to postponement and poverty,” said Giudici.

The deputy highlighted her closeness with Patricia Bullrich during the 2023 presidential campaign and highlighted the decisive role that the PRO had in supporting Javier Milei in the runoff. Giudici also considered that the decision to support Milei was an act of political generosity, especially on the part of the former president. Mauricio Macri: “He was very generous in supporting the party structure, even though there were still sectors that did not agree.”

After Milei’s victory in the last legislative elections, Giudici observed with surprise that, in the following forty-eight hours, positions emerged within the PRO that sought to differentiate themselves or even project alternative candidacies for 2027. That is why he questioned the logic of looking for his own candidate immediately after an election won in alliance.

Regarding the composition of the lists and party membership, Giudici clarified that the ballot in the city of Buenos Aires corresponded to Freedom Advancesand that several deputies entered through that space, although confusion persists about their affiliation.

The deputy defended the legitimacy of her seat, arguing that it was the result of a confluence of sectors and not of a single party. And he rejected the idea that the bank should be returned to the PRO. Furthermore, he highlighted the diversity of district situations, mentioning the case of Córdoba, where the PRO voted outside the alliance, and that of Chubut, where the governor of the PRO, Ignacio Torressupported United Provinces.

Giudici expressed hope that, under the leadership of Cristian Ritondothe PRO manages to come together in a solid alliance for 2027. And he stressed the importance of putting aside personal disputes to face the immediate legislative challenge: “We have one month left of treatment in Congress with a residual majority that today wants to vote on a budget with an absolute deficit.”

Finally, Giudici reaffirmed that his decision to join the bloc Freedom Advances responds to the need for stability and future for Argentina, and the obligation to represent those who placed their trust in the change project promoted by the current administration, headed by Javier Milei.
