  4. Zest of 1/2 lemon
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)
  6. 1 pinch of grated fresh ginger (optional)
  7. 50-100 ml of water (if the fruits are not very juicy)
  8. Sterilized glass jars with airtight lids, quantity needed
