Prime Video has confirmed the premiere of its new original series, ‘En fin’, a Spanish comedy that will be available on the platform starting next September 13. This series is shaping up to be A unique combination of dark humor and a post-apocalyptic approach, presented from a fresh and light-hearted perspectiveThe creation is in the hands of David Sainz and Enrique Lojo, who have imprinted their characteristic seal of irreverence and creativity on this proposal.
Shot in Seville and La Antilla (Huelva), ‘En fin’ has a stellar cast that includes José Manuel Poga, Malena Alterio, Raúl Cimas and Irene Pérez. The plot follows Tomás, a man who, upon learning of an imminent end of the world, decides to abandon his wife and daughter. However, when the announced apocalypse does not happen, Tomás realizes the mistake he has made and struggles to get back to the life he left behind. His family, headed by Julia, has found new paths and is not willing to return to the old routine.
On the day the apocalypse was supposed to come, Tomás wakes up hungover in the middle of an orgy in a furniture store. Months ago, faced with the news of the end of the world, he abandoned Julia, his wife, and Noa, his daughter, without looking back. But when the errant planet that was going to crash into Earth passes by and the world keeps spinning, Tomás understands the magnitude of his mistake. Now, He will try to recover his past life and obtain forgiveness from his family, seeking to rebuild after the non-apocalypse a world that will never be the same again. Meanwhile, Julia, who has always lived with the handbrake on, sees this as a second chance, setting out to do all those things she never dared to do before. Noa, for her part, wonders why the adults have insisted on destroying the world on their own, without any giant planet crashing into Earth.
In addition to the main cast, ‘En fin’ includes the participation of actors such as Luisa Gavasa, Dani Mantero, the influencer and comedian Cristian de la Tierra, Pepa Rus, Javier Botet, Adrián Pino, Victor Rebull and Numa Paredesamong others. The series will also feature the special collaboration of Leonor Watling. Made up of six 30-minute episodes, ‘En fin’ is a production by Versus in collaboration with Different Entertainment, with Rafael Portela, Teresa Segura and Alejandro Miranda as executive producers.
