The project consists of transporting crude oil via barges from the Campo 95 Brittany field – in eastern Peru and operated by PetroTal – to the Pompeya Norte Port in Block 16, located in the Ecuadorian province of Orellana and operated by Petroecuador, he explained. the company in a statement.
Subsequently, the oil will be transferred in tank trucks to a station for shipment through the Punta Gorda Maritime Terminal in Esmeraldas, on the Ecuadorian coast. Petroecuador added that it will receive a fee for the service, without giving further details.
