Nuevo León Civil Force arrests six suspects involved in blockades after capture of criminal leader in Tamaulipas

The Civil Force of Nuevo León reported the arrest of six alleged criminals who would be related to the recent blockade attempts in the Free highway to Reynosain the state. The arrests take place in a context of tension after the arrest of a criminal leader in Tamaulipas, which would have triggered reactions from criminal groups in the region.

According to the official report, the arrests were carried out through two operations coordinated by the Intelligence and Investigation Division.

In the first intervention, three individuals were arrested: Rogelio “N”, 24 years old; Sandra “N”, 32; and a minor under 16 years of age. Later, at a second point, they were arrested Juan Francisco “N”, 27 years old; Miguel Ángel “N”, 29; and Rocío “N”, 37.

According to official sources, These blockades would have been attempts at destabilization after the capture of a priority objective in Tamaulipaswhich reinforces the hypothesis of a coordinated reaction by organized crime cells operating in the northeastern area of ​​the country.

The area where the arrests were made remained under the protection of state and federal forces. The Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, the National Guard, the Secretariat of National Defense, the National Intelligence Center, as well as the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic and the Attorney General’s Office of Nuevo León, together with municipal corporations, also participated in the operation.

The authorities indicated that this deployment is part of a comprehensive strategy to contain possible violent acts and guarantee security on the main communication routes of the state. Likewise, they highlighted that surveillance and patrol operations will be maintained at strategic points to prevent new blockades or confrontations.
