Mercedes Milá was very critical of the emeritus on her Instagram profile. The presenter did not take long to react to all the controversy that arose around the audios and photographs of Don Juan Carlos and Bárbara Rey: “There is no sin more intolerable than being king and mocking the Spanish for so many years”.
The journalist wanted to take a position regarding Bárbara Rey’s blackmail of the Spanish State that we have learned about in the last two weeks: “He has forgotten that the payments for his whims and misdeeds have been made with the money of those citizens who have a hard time making ends meet”. He added that Juan Carlos has felt unpunished: “He stopped feeling responsible for his actions, committing base things and involving the State in them.”
“We should be able to judge him without immunity or prescriptions”Mercedes Milá was so forceful about the consequences that these events should have. Furthermore, he explained that there are people imprisoned for less: “Spanish prisons are full of people serving sentences for very minor crimes that we are finding out about these days.”
The legendary host of ‘Big Brother’ concluded as always without mincing words: “It is understandable that she needs to cover up her sexual adventures, but that the rest of us pay for it is disgusting.” Despite all this, he did not fail to point out that this situation is the fault of having looked the other way: “We Spaniards have created a monster. “It’s better that we face it.”.
