The singer Manu Tenorio remains at the center of the controversy due to the situation faced with the tenants of your home in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. These tenants, whom he has described as “inquiokupas”, have not paid rent for more than a year, accumulating a debt of more than 10,000 euros. According to Tenorio, he has tried unsuccessfully to evict them and recover their property, which has generated frustration both personally and legally.

The tenants of the house, who have tried to remain anonymous, claim to be paying to the Treasurydespite the fact that Tenorio would have demonstrated with papers that the company to which the property belongs does not have any debt. Of course, despite having that debt with the singer, within their block of flats they have neighbors who defend them.

The ‘Fiesta’ program went to the town of Cádiz where the house is located to try to talk to some of the owners of the adjacent houses, and although the majority do not want to speak in front of the cameras, those who do say that “They are very good people and very hardworking.. They are people who don’t cause any problems.”

Furthermore, they do not stay there, but attack the singer, owner of the house, stating that “they have their contract and they are not squatters. Let Manu Tenorio pay for the community, which has never paid for it. “We have seen the letters from the Treasury, that is why we defend them.” Finally, they comment that the artist would want to evict them to turn that house into a tourist home.
