At the same press conference, the Mexican regional singer referred to the nature of the images he had of the interpreter of “Cactus”ensuring that she was the one who took them and sent them to him.

While, when questioned directly by the TV Azteca host about the type of bond he had with Belinda, Rivera responded without hesitation: “A romantic relationship that lasted seven months”.
The legal dispute between the singers has escalated with the recent countersuit filed by the brother of Jenni Riverawho accuses the artist of allegedly falsifying statements in the judicial process that involves complaints of gender and digital violence.
According to the information provided by Lupillo Rivera’s lawyer in First-handBelinda’s original complaint against Lupillo Rivera included the statement that both had a romantic relationship, but in the request for protective measures, the singer would have modified her version.
“First, Belinda says, in her complaint, that she had a romantic relationship with Lupillo Rivera. Then, to obtain protection measures, she says that she only had a work relationship. There is already a falsehood“, he detailed.
Despite the controversy, Belinda has not made public statements about the alleged romance she had with Lupillo Rivera.
