The 1st TVE premieres tonight ‘King Peret‘, the TV movie about the legend of Catalan rumba (10:50 p.m.). The cast also includes Asia Ortega, Jordi Planas, Paco Moreno, Elena Gadel, Paul Berrondo, Pepa López and Toni Sevilla, among others. The premiere of the TV movie coincides this year with the 50th anniversary of Peret’s performance at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. Streetwise‘occupies prime time of Four This Monday (10:30 p.m.). On this occasion, Silvia Ruiz and Juan Ignacio Contreras delve into the Seville neighborhood of 3000 homes. The neighborhood with the lowest per capita income in Spain also has a lot of color and art. The program will meet her at home, with her father, on prison leave for a few days in a neighborhood severely punished by drugs and their trafficking. In another corner of the neighborhood, Antonio, a house painter during office hours and “Spielberg’s apprentice” in his free time, is filming a scene about his latest film, full of social criticism and shot with non-professional actors from the 3000. In this neighborhood there is also the Andalucía school, winner of a National award for promoting reading. “Everything is in books,” says the monitor of a library with almost 8,000 titles, to the delight of the students who tell a story around her. Just 10 minutes by car from the capital, in this neighbourhood apartments are sold in a matter of hours. “Once a lady came with cash in one euro coins in 2 litre Coca Cola bottles,” confesses an estate agent who shows us an apartment.
