Kim Kong-Un of North Korea reiterates its policy of developing nuclear forces

Kim Jong reiterated North Korea’s policy of developing his nuclear forces, stating that he would reinforce deterrence, while the nation commemorated the anniversary of the popular Korean army.

The North Korean leader blamed the military association between the United States, Japan and South Korea, and their exercises of nuclear war simulation, to cause conflicts and raise a serious challenge to the security of your country.

Kim made these statements in a speech delivered on Saturday before the Ministry of Defense in an act of celebration of the 77th anniversary of the Popular Army of Korea.

The US president, Donald Trump, met Friday with Japanese prime minister, Shigeru Ihiba, at the White House.

Both leaders reaffirmed their alliance in terms of security and affirmed that the two countries share “serious concerns” about the North Korean nuclear missile program.

They agreed to improve the “extended deterrence” measures of the US, aimed at supporting the allies in case of nuclear attack.

Kim said that North Korea would continue to support the Russian army and people to “defend their territorial sovereignty, security and integrity” as part of the strategic association between the two countries, Kcna reported.
