President José Antonio Kast confirmed that this Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. he will carry out his first national broadcast, instance in which he will present the guidelines of the Reconstruction Plan bill aimed at economic reactivation.
The president advanced the tone of his intervention. “I hope to ‘break it’ on Wednesday, so that everyone turns on the TV at nine,” he stated. adding that in that instance “we are going to announce the issue of reconstruction, of reactivation where we are going to need everyone’s collaboration.”
Kast explained that the initiative will have a broad scope, incorporating fiscal and institutional dimensions along with measures to boost growth. “We are going to send this bill that aims to rebuild the fiscal and institutional issues, to reactivate our economy,” he said.
Along these lines, the head of state placed emphasis on the labor market as the central axis of the proposal. “We want to give a concrete message of hope to SMEs, to see how we generate more employment,” he said. adding that “employment is by far the best public policy that one can carry out and it also dignifies the person.”
The announcement comes in a context in which the Executive has highlighted the need to promote economic recovery measures, particularly in support of small and medium-sized businesses, in the midst of a scenario of deceleration and fiscal restrictions.
