The death of Alejandra Esquin, 24 years old and known on social networks as Baby Demoni, continues to be the subject of debate on social networks, due to the circumstances in which it occurred and which are still the subject of investigation by the authorities.
Although at first there was speculation that it was a suicide, later speculation began to circulate about health complications after a cosmetic surgery she underwent, or even a possible violent death, after it was reported that she had been going through problems with Samor One, her partner.

While the authorities carry out investigations into the case, it was addressed in the podcast Criminal Conductwhich in its most recent episode had as a guest Juliana Calderón, sister of the influencer Yina Calderón, a lawyer by profession and very close to Baby Demoni, recounted what the content creator’s last days were like.
One of the aspects that brought Juliana and her sisters together was precisely the desire to improve their body through cosmetic surgeries. “Her dream was to have surgery. One time she told me: ‘No, my dream is to have surgery. I would like to have a good waist, this and that’. Is this really your dream? She said: ‘Yes’, I told her: ‘I’ll help you,'” the lawyer recalled.
The operation was not just an aesthetic detail, but the center of a vital hope that Juliana Calderón and her family helped make possible, appealing to trusted medical contacts and constant care. “I have two surgeons. Let’s ask this one, it wasn’t possible with the first one, so I told him: ‘Ready, I have another one, don’t worry,’ which was Ricardo Urazán.”
After making the appointment, Juliana recalled that everything flowed between friendship, the support of the Calderón sisters and professional trust, to the point that both the specialist and Juliana herself told her that the interventions were a success. “Suddenly she had a lot of complexes about her physical appearance. So, I said: ‘No, you looked super pretty.’ The doctor told me that she looked very pretty.”he expressed.
In the middle of the episode, Juliana played audios and messages that Baby Demoni sent her, in which she expressed her joy at the change her body underwent. “At no point does she look sad or depressed or anything,” he remarked.
The personal importance of the surgery was also confirmed by Baby Demoni’s mother, who shared a disturbing comment with Juliana on the day of the wake: “‘Imagine that Baby told me that her dream was to have surgery and until she had surgery she would not die in peace’. And she just had to have surgery and die. How curious life is.”he pointed out.
Juliana remembered that Baby was happy to go to her first follow-up appointment, without anything seeming to anticipate the subsequent outcome. She said that she found the news while she was in a shopping center with her sisters.
First he received a call from the surgeon, who told him he was in the hospital. Then, the young woman’s best friend, The Youngest Strawberry, as well as her mother, told her that she entered the medical center in a delicate state of health. Later, the fatal news came via text message when Baby Demoni’s mother wrote “he left us.”
In her capacity as family representative, Juliana had access to the deceased content creator’s cell phone, and it was there that she found out that the young woman had a boyfriend, since she never told her in life. “The sister hands me Baby Demoni’s cell phone. She shows me audios, videos, photos… The cell phone was obviously going to the CTI as an evidentiary element. So, I managed to pass some things to my cell phone.”he explained.
Among these files, he discovered records that portrayed moments before the death and the previous context. “She shows me a video where she talks a few minutes before all that. The sister tells me that they had a camera in their apartment (…) they had a damaged television, the glass was broken…'”, he explained. However, when attempting to inspect the camera, CTI found that the device was out of memorywhich leaves open doubts about what happened.
Regarding the audios stored on Baby Demoni’s cell phone, Juliana Calderón explained that she witnessed interactions between Samor One and her daughter, which she described as forced.
“I heard the audios where he tells her: ‘Mommy, but tell me, what does your mother do when I’m not there?’ And then, the girl answers: ‘My mother kisses Strawberry.’ One), which is not available. “I don’t know if he deleted it, because he had her cell phone,” he said.
Into the air, Juliana shared an audio that Baby Demoni sent to The Youngest Strawberry, crying over the rumors that she had a relationship with him. “I want to know who the (silenced) was, because he told me he was from our circle, partner. How are they going to invent that? He treated me as ugly, stupid, that’s why he didn’t get close to me, that he disgusted me, that’s why I had become plastic, that’s why he didn’t even look at me. Ñero, he made my daughter say that!“, is heard in the recording.
In this regard, Juliana pointed out the possibility that Samor One began to feel jealous about the surgery and the intentions he had to move home, due to how dangerous the neighborhood where they lived was. “He suddenly began to feel the change in her growth there and suddenly felt jealous. He never agreed with her having surgery, because his friend told me that. By the way, on the day of the surgery my sister told her: “Oh, but she’s going to have surgery, she’s going to look prettier.” And he was like: “Ah, yes, ah, yes”, but he did not support her financially or with blackberry juice. There you can hear in the audio where he told her that she was a plastic woman. His self-esteem dropped a lot. So, he suffered a lot of psychological violence.”
