During his speech, Jiménez explained that some have suggested he return to the classic songs that made ‘Cuarto Milenio’ iconic.: “Suddenly, those who despised the mystery tell you out loud: ‘Please come back, it was magnificent.’ What you don’t want is for me to talk about current events.”he reflected.
Throughout the closing, the presenter took the opportunity to thank the support received in the recent Mediaset Christmas Cup: “It was such a great affection that I want to thank you. Someone may say, ‘Man, it’s your house and your people.’ Yes, but when things get tough, people can be distant.”he pointed out. He especially mentioned Alessandro Salem, Sandra Fernández and Paco Moreno, who supported him in the most difficult moments, as well as colleagues like Emma García and Ángeles Blanco, who shared with him how hard it was to see how his departure from the network was requested.
