The town of Villa Tesei, in the Buenos Aires district of Hurlinghamwas the scene this Wednesday of a chilling scene. At noon, three friends met on the street and, for reasons that are still under investigation, two of them began to argue. In that context, SLD, 18, pulled out a gun and shot Diego Eduardo Consencao (32)who was wounded by a gunshot and died a few hours later.
In the last few hours, personnel from the Buenos Aires Police managed to capture the shooter’s accomplice, 17 years old, and continue working to find the perpetrator of the incident.
Police sources consulted by Infobae They stated that the discussion between SLD, EID -the only one arrested so far- and Consencao broke out near the intersection of Eduardo Bradley and Inés de Pons streets, right on the border between Villa Tesei and El Palomar.
As indicated in the video that heads this note, the clock showed 1:15 p.m. when the three involved in the incident were captured by a municipal camera installed on the block.
SLD, who was wearing a black cap, a white and black jacket, beige pants and white sneakers, and Consencao – dressed in a brown cap, black T-shirt, blue and yellow pants and gray sneakers – were traveling aboard two bicycles, while EIM, the shooter’s accomplice walked alongside them.
Suddenly, the three stopped in the middle of a public road, SLD got out of his car and asked his henchman to hold her up.
After just 10 seconds of discussion, SLD took out a gun from a small bag he was carrying and began shooting at Consencaowho jumped off his bicycle and ran away to try to avoid the gunshots.
Although he fled, the victim suffered two gunshot wounds, one in the thorax and one in the pelvisand had to be transferred to the local hospital, where he received emergency medical assistance, but died as a result of his serious injuries.
Upon receiving a 911 call, police personnel went to the scene, interviewed residents of the area and were able to corroborate that both the victim and the attackers are residents of the same neighborhood. Based on investigation and tracking tasks, the Operational Tactical Group (GTO) of the Hurlingham Departmental Security Police Station managed to arrest EIM, an accomplice of the shooter, while the main accused, who has a record of qualified robbery, remains fugitive and is intensely sought after.
The UFI No. 3 and the Youth UFI No. 2 of the Morón Judicial Department intervene in the investigation, whose teams of prosecutors continue working to determine the circumstances under which Consencao’s homicide occurred, and in turn locate his murderer.
