The Chancellor of the Republic, Luis Gilberto Murillocommented from his X account that he held a meeting with the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, and with political and official sectors of Venezuela within the framework of the political and electoral situation that the neighboring country is going through.

“We remain in contact with all official and political sectors in Venezuela, in a joint and constructive diplomatic effort between Colombia, Brazil and Mexico; “Always respecting the sovereignty of the neighboring country,” said the foreign minister.

Murillo stressed respect for Venezuela’s sovereignty, affirmed that there will be no interference in internal affairs and stressed that they maintain respect for human rights. Likewise, Both delegates respect the OAS position regarding the current situation in the neighboring country.
