Elon Musk asks to process Pentagon staff who leaked information to Times

Elon Musk said that Pentagon staff who spoke with New York Times journalists should be prosecuted, After the newspaper reported that the billionaire was going to be informed about the American army plan for any war that could explode with China.

“The New York Times is pure propaganda,” Musk said in a publication on his social media platform X Friday. “In addition, I hope with interest the processing of those in the Pentagon who are filtering malicious and false information to the NYT. They will be found.”

Musk’s comments occurred after President Donald Trump also denied the story about his close ally.

“It will not even be mentioned or talk about China,” Trump said in a social publication on Thursday on the meeting.

The New York Times did not immediately respond to a request for comments.

An American official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Reuters that the information session for Musk would attend senior US military officials in the Pentagon and that it would be an overview of several different issues, including China.

Access to a very well -saved military plan would involve a strong expansion of Musk’s role as Trump advisor, who has headed efforts to cut the expenditure of the United States government.

It would also generate doubts about the conflicts of interest of Musk, who, as director of Tesla, and Spacex, has commercial interests in China and with the Pentagon.

The White House has previously said that Musk will be challenged if any conflict of interest between its businesses and its role in reducing the federal government expenditure arises.

Last week, the director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, said he had ordered investigation into leaks from within the intelligence community and that is also investigating the internal chat rooms to detect any misconduct by employees.
