The president of the United States, Donald Trump, said Friday that he plans to strip Harvard University of his tax exemption status, The last save against the Ivy League school within the framework of greater repression against United States elite universities.
“We are going to take Harvard his tax exemption status. It’s what they deserve!”Trump said in a publication on his social media platform, without specifying when he could adopt the measure.
It was not possible to immediately contact Harvard representatives to comment on the president’s publication.
Since he assumed the position in January, Trump has attacked the main universities of the United States, freezing federal financing, Starting research, revoking students’ visas and making other demands, saying that higher education has taken over anti -Semitic ideologies, an antiestadounidses, Marxistas and “radical left”.
