The movie ‘Tangled’Tangled‘, in Spanish) which follows the adventures of Rapunzel, the young princess with long hair, will have a live action versionspecialized media reported this Wednesday.
The director Michael Gracey (‘The Greatest Showman’) is currently in negotiations to lead this Disney production whose 2010 animated version grossed more than $591 million internationally.
It is a musical version of the story of the Brothers Grimm whose script is written by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (‘Thor: Love and Thunder’).
‘Tangled’ follows the Rapunzel’s adventures and an outlaw named Flynn Rider who rescued her from the isolated tower in which she was trapped.
The film adds to the efforts that Disney has had in recent years to revive your animated classics presenting live-action versions such as ‘The Lion King’ (2019), ‘The Little Mermaid’ (2023), ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’, which will be released on December 20, or ‘Lilo & Stitch’ and ‘Moana’ , currently in production.
Gracey made his directorial debut in 2017 with the hit film ‘The Greatest Showman’, a biographical musical drama of PT Barnum starring Hugh Jackman, and this year he presented ‘Better Man’, a film based on the life of singer Robbie Williams.
