The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, received the National Palace on Tuesday, Michelle Bachelet.
Through her social network X account, the federal president shared a photograph of the meeting, in which she was accompanied by Foreign Minister Juan Ramón de la Fuente y the head of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat), Alicia Bárcena.
“We talked about Latin America, the well -being and the role of women in politics,” Sheinbaum explained in the message posted on social networks.
At the end of last September it was announced that the Chilean government plans to nominate the former president Michelle Bachelet as a candidate for the General Secretariat of the United Nations Organization (UN).
The twice president of the South American country (2006-2010, 2014-2018) has also worked as high commissioned human rights of the multilateral body.
