The musician Anton Alvarez, better known by his stage name C. Tangana, Special mention has been made of the San Sebastian Festival for his directorial debut, the documentary ‘The flamenco guitar of Yerai Cortés’.
The Madrid artist was competing in the New Directors section, where the main prize went to the Swiss ‘Bagger Drama’ by Piet Baumgartner.
The film is an emotional portrait of the man from Alicante Yerai Cortes (1995), emerging guitarist and composer who has accompanied artists such as La Negra, La Tana, Chuchito Valdés, Javier Colina or Farruquitoamong others.
The production has been carried out by its usual partners of Little Spain, authors of their video clips and the documentary ‘Esa ambition desmedida’ that they presented last year in San Sebastián.
