The operation carried out by the Bolivian Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking (FELCN) at the Tambo Quemado customs office was carried out on December 30 and three Bolivians and one Colombian were detained, the Government added.
“We seized 8.7 tons of cocaine that were destined for the Netherlands (Europe), which were camouflaged in wooden tiles, transported in a truck,” said the president of Bolivia, Luis Arce, on his account on the social network X.
President Arce added in X that it is “the largest cocaine seizure in the history of #Bolivia.”
