‘La revuelta’ confirms its good reception after facing its second week of broadcast on TVE. The program presented by David Broncano scored a great 19.5% audience share and 2,591,000 viewers in prime time last Monday. One more day, La 1’s talk show became the most watched show of the day and surpassed ‘El hormiguero’ by 2.5 points.
Agustí Esteve, director of El Terrat, the company in charge of co-producing the format, wanted to take stock of these first days on the new channel. In an interview with ‘El Món a RAC1’, the director was clear about Broncano’s arrival at TVE: “It surprised us all”he begins by saying.
“TVE is freaking out about how quickly everything has happened”he said on the radio show. In addition, Esteve wanted to highlight the public corporation’s commitment. “TVE is making a very brave commitment,” congratulating them for having placed their trust in the programme.
Regarding the success of ‘La revuelta’ on TVE, he also had no doubts about it: “It’s done with good vibes and that helps”. When asked about Pablo Motos, Agustí Esteve was candid: “Some segments of the population do not like the figure of Pablo Motos and perhaps they have now found an alternative,” he concluded.
