The blog meet-up

I have never been to a blog meet-up before. It was interesting: a bunch of bloggers chatting (but not much about blogging) and a bunch of young marketing types wondering how they can make a buck out of blogging.

Some of the web addressed with whom I chatted were: Sara, Tim, Dean, James, Mark, Andrea, Brad, Luke, Falkayn, and Laurel.

The person with the most interesting job was Matt from the United Kingdom, who is a “blogging coach” (among other things). If you don’t know what to blog about, Matt’s your man. Unfortunately, I did not get Matt’s web address. (Update: Matt is here).

The most challenging question I was asked all evening was: “Why isn’t there a political party for me: socially progressive but economically conservative? All the 20-30s I know fall into this category.”

The second most challenging question I was asked: “Can I have your card?” Apparently real bloggers have business cards for their blogs.

There is a photo of the event here.
