Morgan: 51 to 49 in the Coalition’s favour
Morgan has come around to echo the recent results from Newspoll and ACNielsen. From its poll of 1943 voters over the last two weekends, it predicted a national two party preferred vote of 51 per cent for the Coalition and 49 per cent for Labor. The national primary vote prediction was 42 per cent for the Coalition and 38 per cent for Labor.
This being the last poll of the month for January 2006, we can see the scale of the Coalition’s recovery from its fourth quarter poll slump in 2005.
