WA election: early count favours Labor
It looks like the punters, polls and pundits had it right. Based on the current trends (at 7:49pm Perth time) the Western Australian Labor Government should be returned with a slightly reduced majority.
Update: With 72 per cent of the vote counted at 11:17pm Perth time the ABC computer is predicting a Labor win with 32 seats. However, a couple of seats are still in doubt (Bunbury and Murray).
